The new ultra-slim (Less than one inch thickness) Acer eMachine eM350 which is the latest release from Acer with MTS Mblaze High Speed Internet data service. Not only the free offer of the high speed internet is attractive. There are many other features which are very attractive on this Acer eMachine eM350 Mini laptop.

This 10.1 inch screen Netbook comes with 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM with one soDIMM Module. The processor is not the old Atom processor which are still available in the market on some other Netbook models. The Intel® Atom™ processor N450 (512 KB L2 cache, 1.66 GHz, 667 MHz FSB) delivers good performance than the N270 models which are still available in the market for a price higher than this eM350.

The Mobile Intel® NM10 Express Chipset is ready for the Windows 7 Operating system. But, you may need to increase the system RAM to 2GB.

The display on this eM350 Netbook is 10.1″  1024 x 600 (WSVGA) px resolution, high-brightness (200-nit)™ LED-backlit TFT LCD, which is clear and crisp. There is no drawbacks on this display due to the less price offer. Not a HD resolution, but still OK while considering the price. Most importantly, this is not draining the battery so aggressively.

The 2 in 1 Card reader on this mini laptop supports the Secure Digital (SD) and the MutimediaCard(MMC). Also supports the MiniSD and microSD cards via the SD card adapter ( Comes with most of the microSD cards and costs very cheap)

The built in stereo speaker is not so enjoyable. But the high definition audio output from this eM350 Netbook will definitely provide good listening experience from a good budget external computer speaker.

Like most other high end Laptops, this mini also comes with WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, Microphone, Webcam 640×480 Pixel resolution, 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet LAN, etc.,

There is no inbuilt optical drive like most other Netbooks in the market today. So, it is not a big deal. The Hard drive capacity is 250GB.
