Acer Aspire 4745 – i3 370M – Windows 7

This is the 14 inch screen laptop from Acer available in India with Intel Core i3 – 370M processor. This Acer Aspire 4745 model is available in two other configurations. The other one with the pre-installed Windows 7 operating system is coming with the Core i3-350M processor which is 2.26GHz clock speed. The Core i3-370M is 2.40GHz Clock Speed. There are no other major differences between these two processors. The price difference is also not so big.

Acer Aspire 4745 – Linux

This Acer Aspire 4745 Laptop is same like the one comes with Windows 7 operating system. Most of the hardware configuration are same with same build. But, this one comes with Linux operating system and slightly less powered processor. The difference is very minimal. If you have a plan to Install the operating system separately, this one is the right choice with great savings. While writing this review, there are no drivers available for Windows XP and Windows Vista for this Laptop model. So, the only option left to you is the Windows 7 operating systems and Linux OS.

The lower priced one is powerd by Core i3 Processor and “ATI Radeon HD 4570 512MB VRAM Dedicated Graphics”. The higher priced 5740G is powered by Core i5 processor and “ATI Radeon HD 5650 1GB VRAM Dedicated Graphics”.
